Real Estate Southeast welcomes Hibbett Sports to Cherokee Plaza in Centre, AL June 2013
BIRMINGHAM - Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc., the national sporting goods retailer based in Birmingham, plans to open the new location this summer at Cherokee Plaza Shopping Center (next to Goody's). The store anticipates employing eight full-and part-time team members. Hibbett has 84 locations in Alabama.
Hibbett is a fast-growing operator of over 880 full-line sporting goods stores in small to mid-sized markets, predominantly in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest, according to a company press release dated June 11. http://www.hibbett.com/about-us/.
